I really like how this artist used contrasting colors. I also like how the person is sort of faded out/looks like a shadow but you can still make out the color of his board and clothes. The inclusion of the stars drew my attention along with the clouds being portrayed as the waves or ocean. I enjoy the beach and the ocean so this piece really spoke to me. When people are happy they say it feels as if they’re “walking on a cloud” which is how I interpreted this image. I can also infer that the artists of this piece enjoys the beach as well.
